Printmaking/Intaglio Prints

(Pronounced in-tah-lee-oh). Using a five hundred year-old, manual printing process, Candice Alexander creates etched and/or hand-engraved copper and zinc plates. She manufactures her own rich sepia tone ink using traditional materials to print onto archival paper.

This part of the gallery also includes woodcuts, monotypes, linoleum cuts and lithography. All are signed, limited-edition releases.

Paintings

Using her theory of Color Proximity, Candice Alexander attempts to convey universal feelings that only a non-verbal communication can impart.

Candice Alexander's photography captures a fleeting moment of the infinite light of eternity.

Mixed Media

In mixed media, the limitless imagination is set free by having no restriction. All building blocks of art can be combined, even kinetic, lighted or found objects, which already tell a story, can become part of a visual poetry in the hands of Candice Alexander.
